Imagine waking up in the morning and feeling a surge of excitement just to see yourself. Picture looking in the mirror and falling in love with the person staring back at you. Envision standing tall and seeing the entire world at your feet. When you're alone, instead of feeling lonely, you find joy in your own company, engaging in heart-to-heart conversations with yourself, praising your qualities, and basking in self-appreciation. Spending time with yourself becomes the most fulfilling relationship of all.




Life is fleeting, yet we often complicate it by endlessly seeking happiness in others, placing their opinions above our own. But why? Why do we diminish our worth?


We are creations of God. How can we compare a divine creation to anyone else? How can we harbor hatred towards our own being, crafted with divine intention?


God designed us with care, intending for us to recognize our unique qualities and shine brightly in this world. The day you start competing with yourself, you will uncover your best version, and nothing will stop you from loving yourself. So, why wait for someone else to define your worth? Why not discover your qualities, your potential, and your excellence on your own?


My Story: A Journey to Self-Love




From a young age, I was convinced that I was nothing. People around me seemed infinitely better. Everyone constantly belittled me, saying I lacked intelligence and couldn't achieve anything. Despite always being top of my class, I felt inferior and began to despise myself. Life felt like a distant, ungraspable dream, and I started to hate my existence. At a very young age, I developed migraines and faced numerous health issues, losing my will to live.


One day, I asked myself, "Do you want to live?" My mind screamed no, but deep down, my heart yearned for life. I decided to listen to my heart and made every possible effort to transform myself. Depression had caused my weight to balloon from 50 kg to 86 kg, so I resolved to lose weight. In four months, I shed the extra kilos and went from 86 kg to 68 kg. I secured a job at a reputable company, and my life began to stabilize.


However, fate had other plans. Shortly after starting my job, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, and I contracted the virus, teetering between life and death in the hospital for seven days. Despite my strong will to live, my weight shot up to 83 kg within two months post-recovery.


But I refused to give up. Despite the hardships, I chose to thank myself, practiced gratitude daily, and rose again like a phoenix from the ashes. When I decided to embrace a life filled with happiness and gratitude, miracles began to unfold. One day, seemingly out of nowhere, I received a promotion at my company, along with a higher salary package. This was a testament to my perseverance and the power of positive thinking.


As I continued on this path, my health began to improve. Slowly but surely, I reduced my weight to 64 kg. It felt like shedding the physical and emotional burdens that had weighed me down. I realized that life requires self-confidence and independence, both of which I have cultivated within myself.


Now, each day, I make it a point to express gratitude to myself 24 times. This ritual fills me with boundless positive energy, creating a ripple effect that attracts happiness and fulfillment into my life. Every moment of gratitude strengthens my belief in myself and my journey. It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come and how capable I am of achieving my dreams.


This is my journey towards self-love. Embrace yourself, cherish your uniqueness, and discover the immense power and joy that comes from truly loving who you are.
